Our panellists (pictured top to bottom) have deep expertise in ESG funding matters:

  • Henriette Rothschild (Moderator) of KordaMenthahas over 10 years of success in executive turnaround roles across Australia, New Zealand, Japan and Korea and 25 years+ work experience in sales, commercial, marketing, consulting and HR. Henriette works with organisations to implement sustainable turnaround in complex, politically charged, time sensitive, and financially challenged environments.
  • Jonathan Bloch is an Executive Director in ANZ’s Sustainable Finance division. He is an award-winning industry specialist and senior banker, with over 20 years of delivery in the resources, energy and infrastructure space. Jonathan’s extensive experience in structured finance and advisory is accompanied by a background in natural earth sciences and engineering, which has supported his record of incubating and financing transition projects that can deliver meaningful outcomes across ESG priorities. His aim is to deliver high impact scalable transition projects for ANZ and its globally diverse clients.
  • Lachlan Edwards, Founder and Managing Director of Faraday Associates. Lachlan founded Faraday Associates in July 2018 having been at Lazard Australia for five years where he was the Co-Head of the Corporate Advisory business. Lachlan also serves as a Non-Executive Director on the board of Hotel Property Investments (ASX: HPI), a position he has held since November 2013; is the Deputy Chair of the Bell Shakespeare Company; A trustee of the Art Gallery of NSW; and is a former Chair of the Turnaround Management Association in Australia having been its President from January 2016 to June 2018. Lachlan has advised governments, boards, management teams and creditors on some of the world’s largest corporate situations.
  • Robert Wilson is Head of Western Australia at the Clean Energy Finance Corporation, working to accelerate the development of clean energy investment opportunities in Western Australia as well as in the resources sector across Australia. Robert has extensive experience throughout the investment cycle, from concept through to operations, M&A, advisory and commercial experience across the renewables, infrastructure and resources sectors. Robert has held leadership positions in Macquarie Capital’s African infrastructure business and at Atlas Iron, and worked on the establishment of Climate Investor One, a European climate fund focused on emerging markets. Rob holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, and a Master’s of Business Administration from the University of Cape Town.
