JP Gaillard co-runs Soliton Capital Partners, the Australian arm of SSG Capital Management, a HK-based A$10bn+ special situations and credit investment fund. Soliton focuses on Australian and New Zealand corporate and real-estate lending, with the capacity to provide equity in the right circumstances. We are long-term and sector agnostic investors, seeking to deploy A$75-500m per transaction.

Jeffrey Largier
Allegro Funds

Jeffrey has over ten years of experience in investment banking and private equity.  At Allegro Funds, Jeffrey is responsible for deal sourcing, appraisal and execution as well as management of portfolio companies including various operational turnaround initiatives.  During his time at Allegro, Jeffrey has been involved in the acquisition, turnaround and/or transformation of TSC Group, Carpet Court, Eagle Boys, JSW Australia, Terrex Seismic and Questas Group.

Founded in 2004 by Chester Moynihan and Adrian Loader, Allegro is Australia’s most-awarded team in the transformation and turnaround investing space. They have one of the largest private equity teams on the ground and a track record of successfully partnering with management teams and other stake holders to create value in a business regardless of how that business may be performing.

Maria O'Brien
Baker McKenzie

Maria is the head of the Restructuring & Insolvency practice at Baker McKenzie’s Australian offices. She previously led the Firm’s Asia Pacific Restructuring & Insolvency Working Group and is a member of the Global Restructuring & Insolvency Steering Committee. Maria is a Fellow of INSOL International (the International Association of Restructuring, Insolvency & Bankruptcy Professionals), and a director of the Turnaround Management Association (Australia).

Maria has been ranked as a Leading Individual in Restructuring / Insolvency by Chambers Asia Pacific every year since 2011 and has been ranked in the peer-assessed Best Lawyers for Insolvency and Reorganisations every year since 2009. She was the winner of the International Women’s Insolvency & Restructuring Confederation NSW’s inaugural Award for Outstanding Female in the Insolvency and/or Restructuring Industry in 2009. Maria is also a Director of TMA Australia. More

Janna Robertson
Moelis Australia

Janna has over 20 years’ experience in financial services and has held roles at Deloitte and KordaMentha where she was focused on advising clients in relation to financial and operational restructuring and transformation, and performance improvement.

Janna is an alumnus of the University of Technology Sydney, a chartered accountant and a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
