Cameron Belyea
Partner - Clayton Utz

Cameron Belyea leads contested debt and capital market engagements, focusing on restructuring, corporate takeover, tax controversy engagements and complex insolvencies. He acts for sponsors, boards, financial institutions, funds, financial and investment banking advisors and turnaround advisers leading corporate restructures.

Cameron is recognised as a leading or pre-eminent litigator and restructuring lawyer across a range of directories, appearing as counsel and instructing in superior courts in all Australian jurisdictions – a standing that’s reflected in his appointment as president of the Turnaround Management Association Australia. Based in Western Australia, with a primary focus on commodities business, Cameron advises enterprises operating businesses within the agribusiness (including managed investment schemes) and energy and resources sectors – including pipelines, electricity, nickel, gold, platinum, tantalum, mineral sands, earth moving, mining and civil contracting & engineering, receivable portfolios, leisure and entertainment, healthcare, hospitality and accommodation, building, biotechnology, intellectual/real/personal property, and all manner of retail and services industries. Cameron is also a member of the Law Council of Australia and various industry committees, and is a regular lecturer in the University of Western Australia’s MBA program.

Rob Brauer
Partner - McGrathNicol

Rob is an expert in the new Safe Harbour reforms designed to protect directors whilst they undertake a business rescue or turnaround plan. Rob is also a registered liquidator with recent restructuring appointments ranging from the Quintis Group to a variety of mid-market businesses.
Rob has broad industry experience, with particular expertise in mining and mining services, construction and engineering, agribusiness, manufacturing and
hospitality gained from in-country assignments throughout Australasia, Europe, the Middle East and the Americas.

Rob has provided expert guidance to a variety of companies, including the performance improvement project of a major mining company to improve cash
generation, and a cash flow review of the Middle East operations of a prominent listed group to assess ongoing viability. As a restructuring expert, he has
provided independent business reviews of more than 50 businesses, including some of McGrathNicol’s most complex investigating accountant assignments.

Elodie Castagna
Senior Director - FTI Consulting

Elodie transferred within the FTI network to their offices in Australia, Perth, as a Senior Consultant, to work on technology listed companies in Asia-Pacific bringing the skills developed from the EMEA market. In addition to tech stocks, Elodi also advises resources companies on their media and investor relations. One of her key strengths is delivering effective investor relations and media campaigns for listed companies.

Andrew Boys (Moderator)
Assistant Manager - McGrathNicol

Andrew is an Assistant Manager at McGrathNicol and has 5 years’ experience in restructuring, turnaround and business improvement strategies. He assists financiers, corporates and other key stakeholders by undertaking business reviews, identifying performance improvement opportunities, assisting with strategic planning and working capital management. Andrew has also worked across a full range of formal restructuring appointments.

Throughout his career, Andrew has worked on engagements such as Quintis Limited, RCR Tomlinson Limited, and providing assistance on independent expert reports. He has experience in industries including hospitality, mining and resources, agribusiness and managed investment schemes.

Andrew holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Western Australia, is a certified member of the Association of Chartered Accountants – Australia and New Zealand.
