Construction – where to next?

The construction industry continues to be challenged by material shortages, supply chain issues and rising costs. As the RBA increases interest rates to tackle soaring inflation, this creates yet another challenge for an industry already under pressure. The session will touch on the following topics, and more:

  • Current challenges/pressures and the impacts on key stakeholders
  • How the industry is responding
  • Restructuring/turnaround considerations and solvency risks
  • Outlook for the sector in the short to medium term.

In an industry that deals with distressed businesses, this session will provide an opportunity to enhance your understanding of the key issues challenging the industry and what to expect next.

Led by moderator Emily Seeckts (KPMG), the session will include a property market overview and outlook by guest speaker Annabel McFarlane (Senior Director, Research, JLL) and a panel discussion with guest speakers Charles Driscoll (Group General Counsel, Wingate) and Angela Farbridge-Currie (Director, Deloitte).

Light breakfast included
