Recovery risk in the Construction and Property sectors

This session will provide industry insights into the Government’s next steps in the construction and property sector, the outlook for reforms for 2022-2023, industry trends and the impact this will have on key industry stakeholders.

Moderated by TMA NSW Committee member, Taline Chater (Special Counsel, MinterEllison) guest panelists include David Chandler OAM (NSW Building Commissioner), Nicholle Sparkes (General Manager, Delivery and Operations, Frasers Property Australia) and Carrie Metcalfe (Partner, MinterEllison and Property Council of Australia Committee member).

The panel will consider the expanded powers and regulations across asset classes, what further changes are expected in the industry and the key opportunities and challenges facing the sector, particularly in light of global inflationary pressures, sustained supply chain challenges and labour shortages.
