This session will examine some of the different approaches to engaging, building and maintaining a client relationship and the likely impact they have. Content covered will include:
- The principal of reciprocity
- Transactional relationships and interpersonal relationships
- The foundations of trust
- The role of authenticity
- The impact of an imbalance of power in professional relationships
- Managing conflicts and competing interests in significant professional relationships

Yvonne Willich
Psychologist, KordaMentha
Yvonne is a psychologist who has worked in both counselling and organisational roles. For over 20 years she has helped individuals, boards and organisations untangle the people issues which reduce their effectiveness.
She has a deep understanding of motivation, personality, leadership and human behaviour and uses this knowledge to increase self-awareness in others.
Yvonne works primarily within KordaMentha, focusing on assisting senior leaders to maintain a healthy organisational culture. In addition, Yvonne conducts leadership capability assessments for external clients.
