NOW International Scholarships – Applications Open!

The Houlihan Lokey-TMA Scholarship Program, in partnership with TMA Australia, is dedicated to empowering and nurturing the leadership potential of women in our industry.

We’re thrilled to announce the return of the Houlihan Lokey – TMA Australia Network of Women (NOW) Scholarship Program for its second year!

What’s New?

This year, we’re offering two scholarship opportunities.

1. The International Scholarship (1 person): Attend the TMA Global NextGen Leadership Conference in Toronto, Canada from July 24th to 25th, 2024, offers 1 exceptional individual the chance to attend the TMA Global NextGen Leadership Conference in Toronto, Canda from 24 to 25 July 2024.
2. The National Scholarship (2 people): Successful applicants will be invited to attend the TMA Australia National Conference in Sydney (10-11 September).

As TMA Australia President Zina Edwards has noted in relation to her attendance at a TMA Global conference, before she was a partner:

“Having the opportunity to attend the TMA NextGen Leadership Conference in New York when I was a senior associate was an invaluable opportunity for me. I was able to make connections with TMA members from across the world, many of whom have stayed in touch with me even now, almost 8 years later. It truly remains a career highlight and an experience that I recommend to all TMA members.”

Eligibility: The international scholarship is available to ’emerging women’ actively working in turnaround and restructuring, demonstrating a strong passion for our field and a commitment to their personal growth. To be eligible, applicants must be TMA Australia members below the partner level (or equivalent in their organisation) at the time of application. Importantly, applicants must be available to attend the TMA Global NextGen Leadership Conference in Toronto from 24 to 25 July 2024, and must have (or be able to obtain) a valid passport and a visa for entry to Canada prior to travel.

Application Details: The deadline for submission is no later than 5pm, Monday 6 May 2024. The selection process will be rigorous, and successful applicants will be announced the week commending 13 May, 2024.
