Gascoyne Resources Limited

Gascoyne Resources Limited (“Gascoyne”) is an ASX listed gold mining and exploration company with three projects in Western Australia. In May 2019, the mine’s cash flow forecast indicated a significant shortfall from operations over the next six months. Without additional funding, Gascoyne could not continue operations and subsequently was placed into voluntary administration in June 2019.

FTI Consulting took over the running of this insolvent gold mine, working closely with management, secured lenders and shareholders, delivering a remarkable turnaround resulting in jobs saved, all creditors being paid in full, and value created for shareholders in a recapitalised company that was subsequently re-listed on the ASX.
