Ben leads Turnaround nationally at KPMG. He has a diverse background in consulting, covering strategy, special situations, restructuring, operations, and value creation, as well as core due diligence. Ben leverages his uniquely diverse experience to help private capital, large corporates, and government clients create sustainable value from data analytics and drive growth from fact-based commercial insight.

David Oakman
Managing Director, 333 Capital

David is a Managing Director within our 333 Capital group.

He has over 18 years’ experience and has advised private equity, listed and unlisted corporates, private businesses and high net worth individuals. David enjoys the role of creating value for his clients by providing commercial advice and being trusted to lead and execute complex transactions.

In recent years, David has advised Greyhound Australia, Greyhound Resources, Ndevr, Connell Griffin, Infrastructure Advisory Group, Arborsafe and HPS Tech on their successful sale processes

Nicky Ogden
Director, KPMG

Nicky joined KPMG in February 2025 after relocating from the UK, where she was a Director in Value Creation at Interpath Advisory. She has been involved in numerous restructuring assignments with a focus on turnaround and value creation. Nicky has also held roles in hospital transformation in the NHS and with Medtronic prior to joining KPMG.

Nicky brings over 20 years of industry and advisory experience in strategy, value creation, operational excellence, business transformation, and lean management across a wide range of industries and geographies, including 8 years in Healthcare/Lifesciences and 13 years in Automotive supply chain and manufacturing.

Emily Seeckts
Partner, KPMG

Emily is a Partner with KPMG in Melbourne in the Turnaround and Restructuring team. She has 18 years of experience in corporate restructuring, turnaround, and insolvency. Emily has led complex insolvencies across a number of jurisdictions and industry sectors. Her experience also includes several high-profile financial restructurings and interim CFO roles. She regularly acts as an advisor to Government, particularly on infrastructure projects.

 

Crystal Shen
Manager, 333 Capital

Crystal is a Manager within our 333 Capital group.

She brings five years of experience in corporate finance and transaction services, specialising in business modelling, financial due diligence and valuation advising large private and mid-market businesses.

Crystal has supported clients across the Australian market with M&A and strategic capital markets advice, including the sale of Curtain Hardware Australia to 3G Capital-backed Hunter Douglas and Greyhound Australia to Entrada Travel Group.
