Partner, Deloitte

David Rumbens is a Partner in Deloitte Access Economics’ macroeconomics practice. He has extensive experience with Australia’s pre-eminent economic consulting firm.

David has expertise in macroeconomic analysis and forecasting, labour market analysis, and public policy. He is a regular presenter on the economic outlook to government and business leaders for strategic planning activities.

Genevieve Sexton
Partner, Arnold Bloch Leibler

Genevieve Sexton is a Partner at Arnold Bloch Leibler. Genevieve practices in commercial and banking and finance law with a strong emphasis on corporate finance transactions and corporate restructures. She has acted for financiers and borrowers, major corporations and family groups in a diverse range of finance and restructuring matters, including corporate finance, property development finance, mezzanine finance, joint ventures, shareholder arrangements and formal and informal corporate restructures.

Gareth Spence
Head of Australian Economics, NAB

In his current role, Gareth provides detailed analysis of the Australian economy and financial markets, both internally to NAB’s executive team as a strategic advisor and externally to both large and small business customers. A core part of his role is the responsibility for the well regarded NAB Business Surveys which have become a trusted source of detailed information on conditions in the business sector. Gareth’s team also produces a comprehensive set of forecasts for the Australian and global economies.

Gareth joined NAB in early 2018 after ten years with the Reserve Bank of Australia where he worked in the Economic Analysis and Research, Risk Management and Financial Markets Departments, gaining a strong understanding of both monetary policy and its implementation as well as the Australian banking system, financial markets, and financial risk management.
