I’m a Senior Managing Director, Corporate Finance & Restructuring, at FTI Consulting based in Sydney, Australia. I have more than 25 years of experience in corporate recovery, restructuring, and turnaround management in Australia. 

What I enjoy most about working in turnaround and restructuring is that no day is the same nor is any one situation. One day I can be trading on a manufacturing facility in Western Sydney, in rural NSW inspecting crops and livestock, or in the CBD helping an ASX listed company with a complex restructuring.

I first got involved with TMA Australia as a young professional and now as a National Board Member and last year’s Conference Co-Chair.

Something that my colleagues and fellow TMA members might not know about me is that I’ve completed 10+ Noosa Triathlons and one Australian Ironman. Also, I’m on an 875-day streak on Duolingo learning Italian!

The best piece of professional advice I’ve been given is that if you work hard and conduct yourself with empathy, honesty and integrity you will be a great asset for your organisation and their clients.

The best things about being a TMA member are the network of likeminded professionals, both clients and competitors, that generally when faced with a complex restructuring situation, regardless of side, can work together and strive to achieve an outcome which is optimal for all stakeholders.
