Geoff Davis
Investment Director, Merricks Capital
Geoff is an Investment Director (Agriculture) at Merricks Capital, a hard asset investment specialist providing innovative capital solutions for the agriculture, commercial real estate and infrastructure sectors in Australia and New Zealand. Geoff is responsible for the management and performance of investments in the agriculture portfolio which exceeds $500m. Prior to joining Merricks Capital, Geoff co-founded Black Range Capital, an agribusiness advisory firm. There he originated and led M&A transactions along with structuring investment products for agribusiness.
Luke Hooke
General Manager of Policy, Victorian Farmers Federation
Luke is the General Manager of Policy at the Victorian Farmers Federation. He comes from a farming background in northern Victoria and his career has been focused on agricultural politics and policy. He has experience working in federal and Victorian politics with a focus on climate change, animal welfare, environment and water policy.
Charlotte Turner
Senior Associate, Climate Risk Governance, Minter Ellison
Charlotte is a senior associate in the Climate Risk Governance team at MinterEllison. Building on her background as an experienced litigation and administrative lawyer, Charlotte now specialises in climate risk through a finance, corporate governance and liability lens. Charlotte is part of the team recently recognised in the 2020 Environmental Finance Impact Awards as global Impact Law Firm of the year. In addition to her experience in commercial private practice, Charlotte is the APAC Co Lead at The Chancery Lane Project (TCLP). TCLP is a collaborative effort of lawyers and legal professionals to develop and share climate conscious contracting solutions that are harmonious with the business of law.
