Turnaround Case Competition Debrief

Following on from the success of the recent competition, we invite you to a workshop led by Allegro Funds and including some of the judges, to provide feedback on the submissions as well as insights and perspectives from some of the judging panel on their top tips for preparing an investment recommendation for a PE investment committee.

Adrian Loader

Founding Partner

Adrian is a Managing Director and co-founder of Allegro Funds, Australia’s most-awarded team in the turnaround, special situations and transformation investing space. Adrian has over 25 years’ experience in turnaround private equity, investment, and providing restructuring and profit improvement advice in Australia and SE Asia. Adrian has held roles as Chairman, Director and CEO of ASX – listed companies and unlisted companies, previous Chairman and President of the Turnaround Management Association, Australia. Adrian is currently a director on Discovery Holiday Parks, JSW Australia and Toll Global Express.

Chris Koeck

Investment Director

Chris is an Investment Director at Allegro and has 11 years’ experience in private equity and corporate finance. Chris joined Allegro in 2014 as an Analyst and over the past 7 years has been involved in a number of notable investments for Allegro including Best & Less Group, Ngahuia Group and Great Southern Rail. Chris is currently an alternate director on Best & Less Group and Journey Beyond and was previously director of Ngahuia Group.

Sally Badger

Investment Analyst

Sally is an Investment Analyst at Allegro and has 5 years’ experience in private equity and corporate finance. Sally joined Allegro in 2020 and over the past year has been involved in a number of Allegro ‘s investments including Best & Less Group, JSW Drilling and Toll Global Express. Prior to joining Allegro, Sally worked at EY in the Strategy & Transactions team.
