Managing Director, Head of APAC Private Credit, BlackRock

We will be joined by guest speaker Celia Yan, Managing Director of BlackRock. Celia is the Head of APAC Private Credit within BlackRock’s Global Private Debt platform and is the Lead Portfolio Manager of BlackRock’s APAC Private Credit funds and Chair of the Investment Committee. She is responsible for leading the platform, originating and executing investment opportunities, leading the investment process, and maintaining relationships with key deal sources and intermediaries across APAC.  BlackRock has recently appointed a new head of Australasia private credit, with a focus on origination and sourcing of private capital investments in Australia and New Zealand.

Celia is based in Hong Kong and has also spent an extensive amount of her career in Australia. Celia will touch on topics including the current market for private credit and private equity in APAC, the global perspective on private credit opportunities in Australia and opportunities in the private capital space in both markets.
