The global cyber threat is evolving at rapid pace and is now one of the most pervasive threats facing Australia.  In FY20, the Australian Cyber Security Centre responded to 2,266 cyber security incidents and received 59,806 cybercrime reports, an average of one every 10 minutes.

Join Blare Sutton, Technology and Cyber Lead Partner at McGrathNicol, and Jenny Lai of National Australia Bank for a thought provoking discussion of Australia’s cyber security threat and strategies to defend against cyber-attacks. This session will cover:

  • An introduction to cyber security, including types of cyber threats, risks and defences, and why COVID-19 has increased the risk of cyber breaches.
  • An overview of the federal government’s cyber security strategy and recent investment announcement.
