The TMA NextGen Committee of NSW is delighted to invite you to our mental health breakfast at Herbert Smith Freehills that will be led by batyr CEO, Nic Brown.

batyr are leaders in prevention who smash the stigma surrounding mental ill-health and empower young people to reach out for support, by helping create communities that support young people’s mental health and wellbeing. Founded with the objective of dismantling the barriers surrounding mental health, batyr strive to cultivate open and honest conversations on the topic. Their work with young people has yielded valuable insights that are pertinent to the TMA’s NextGen community, and the session will explore mental health strategies directly applicable to young professionals.

Nic will be sharing his insights with us on topics including Australia’s mental health crisis and identifying, tackling, and reducing the barriers that exist to having positive conversations about mental health, and seeking help in the workplace and beyond.

We encourage members and guests to attend – whether you’re interested in learning more about mental health, or are seeking tools and strategies to provide better support to yourself and others in the workplace.

The session will be hosted by Herbert Smith Freehills on Wednesday 30 August, with registration from 8.00am and the seminar from batyr commencing at 8.30am. Tea, coffee and light breakfast options will be available at the seminar.

Nicolas Brown
