It’s back again! After last year’s success, we are again combining the TMA’s main fundraiser for Foodbank with some friendly competition amongst clients and rival firms to see who is king of the field at the annual TMA Turnaround in Sports Event.

Here are five reasons you can’t miss this year’s event:

  1. Keynote speakers:
    1. Brad Hogg – International ODI, Test and crickets T20 cult hero. The boy from the bush who beat the odds to play for Australia with a skill he learnt by accident late in his career, which kept Warnie out of the One Day International team and earned Hogg two World Cups. Retiring in 2008, his comeback at 42 years of age in 2011 both surprised and delighted fans who packed out the WACA to chant his name from the very first Big Bash League. Brad’s success on the domestic and international field coupled with his contagious personality continues to earn him ‘cult status’ amongst cricket fans.
    2. Michael Veletta, current board member at WACA and former international test cricketer. Michael played a pivotal role in Australia’s win of the 1987 Cricket World Cup which was considered the turning point in Australia’s return to success in the international arena. Michael brings with him a wealth of sporting experience from both a player and executive viewpoint.
  2. Omni games – register your team of 10 for the opportunity to bowl your competitors for six in a range of interactive games! Individuals or groups of less than 10 should also register (we will group you into teams).
  3. Tours of the Eagles changerooms – for those who are green with envy to have missed it last year.
  4. Supporting Foodbank – come with open hearts and wallets for the live auction and other opportunities to donate to Foodbank.
  5. Drinks and networking opportunities – including an awards presentations to the omni games champions.
